Stomach Fat Burning-Diets Are Everywhere
Stomach fat burning diets are everywhere. The first thing you need to ask yourself is, are they safe? Some diet plans can do a lot more harm than good. Fad diets such as the grapefruit diet for example, may work only up to a point.
When you have lost the weight and the diet is over, you just go back to the same way you ate before and what happens? The weight comes back and if you are not careful you may just add on a few extra pounds.
If you only have a few pounds to lose then by all means try one of the many fast stomach fat burning diets available so you can get into that dress for the wedding. But, if you have a lot of weight to lose you will need to make some lifestyle changes to reach your goal weight.
Take a minute to write down where you want to end up. What are your goals. Keep track of what you eat in a journal so you can see what you are putting in your body so if it needs to be changed you can change it. Writing in a journal everyday is a very effective tool to use to help you lose the weight you need to lose.
Learn every aspect about food. Become and expert. Figure out how many calories, fats, carbs and sodium are in the food you eat so you will be able to put meals together that are nutritionally balanced and satisfying. Knowing what the right numbers are helps a lot.
You can figure out how many calories you need in a day by calculating your basal metabolic rate, or BMR, or you can simply make up a meal plan that has enough food to equal 1500 calories or so. Keep it all on paper so you can see it daily. Just having a plan is not enough if it is written down you can hold yourself accountable for every single meal.
Learning to eat differently may take some practice and careful planning. When I tell you that you need to eat small meals throughout your day you are going to say you do not have the time to do that because you are at work. well then, I will say that yes you can with some precise planning.
Start packing your lunch and snacks to work with you. Stop wasting money and gaining weight by eating out when you are at work. Save your wallet and your waistline by buying an insulated lunch box and healthy food to put in it.
Now you need to figure what your lunch and snacks will consist of. Well, how about a cup of yogurt and some celery sticks? With a full glass of water that is a great snack for the middle of the morning. For your lunch, why not have a sandwich made of lean turkey breast with some light mayo and lettuce and a cup of grapes? There are a lot of things you can do to make sure you eat small meals throughout your day.
Do your best to drink enough water during the day, too. Stay away from pop and caffeinated beverages like coffee. Caffeine has a drying effect on the body and can contribute to dehydration. Drink lots of water.
If you do start one of the fast stomach fat burning diets and there are a lot of restrictions to the diet you may need to take a supplement to get all the vitamins and minerals you need.

Three Day Diet Reviews
There always seems to be a new diet coming out, and it can get downright confusing. The sheer number of diets makes it difficult to figure out which ones work, and that keeps some people from trying to lose weight. The following 3 day diet reviews will help you decide which diets are best for you.
Before we get to the actual reviews, let’s take a moment to explain what 3 day diets are. As the label suggests, these are diets that are meant to be done for three days, and three days only. Almost all of them require you to follow them precisely, and to complete the entire diet; otherwise you may not lose any weight at all.
While you can lose a lot of weight on these diets, they are not meant to be long-term weight loss solutions. However, they can be a great way to shed some weight quickly and that can come in handy if you have an upcoming event that requires you to be a bit thinner. They can also be a great way to get a jumpstart on your diet and give you the motivation you need to continue a longer term weight loss program.
And now on to the 3 day diet reviews:
Mayo Clinic 3 Day Diet – This is the most popular diet of the ones we’ll be reviewing; perhaps you have also heard it referred to as the Grapefruit Diet. The main focus of this diet is eating meat and vegetables, and then having grapefruit with just about every meal. It is believed that some of the chemicals in the grapefruit help to suppress the appetite, causing people to feel full while eating less. Contrary to popular belief, the grapefruit does not actually burn fat. Though it can be difficult to stick to, the diet has worked for many people so you may want to consider trying it.
Cleveland Clinic 3 Day Diet – Of the 3 day diet reviews we’re covering, this one has the fewest calories. At the same time it has the most variety, so that makes it a strong contender for people who do not like to eat the same thing on a regular basis. If you do this diet you will be able to eat things like ice cream, cheese, bread and peanut butter; though the serving sizes are on the small side. If you are able to sacrifice some calories as long as you can eat many foods, then this 3 day diet may be for you.
Tuna and Water Diet – No surprises here, you eat as much tuna (packed in spring water) and drink as much water as you like for three days. You will probably lose the most weight on this diet, but it is the hardest one to stick to. Also, it should never be done for more than three days as it can be a bit hard on your body.

Three Day Diet Menu
You don’t have to watch the evening news to know that there is a growing obesity problem. Perhaps that’s why there are so many new diets being released all the time. Some of those diets work better than others, but not every diet works for everybody. That being said, there are some diets that work for most people; for example any plan that includes a 3 day diet menu can be quite effective.
It should be noted that there is no single 3 day diet. Instead, it’s a whole diet category. A few of the more popular examples include the 3 Day Grapefruit Diet, Cleveland Clinic Diet, Mayo Clinic Diet and the Tuna and Water Diet.
Each one has a different menu, but they all work on the same principle: that you can lose a lot of weight in three days if you restrict your calories enough. Of course there is more to it than that, as you will see.
You should always consult with your personal doctor before starting any diet program. Sure, a 3 day diet menu doesn’t last that long, but you still need to make sure that you are able to go on the diet and that there aren’t any underlying health problems. Once you get approval you can start the diet.
No matter which 3 day diet you choose, it is vital that you follow it exactly, and that you stick to it for the entire three days. Each menu will be designed in such a way that all of the foods work together and deviating from the plan even slightly can prevent you from losing weight. Furthermore, you shouldn’t do a 3 day diet for more than three days, as they are not meant to be long-term weight loss solutions.
As mentioned earlier, there are several 3 day diets to choose from, but each one is a bit different. The key to choosing the right one is to be honest with yourself. Look at all of the foods you will be eating (and how often) and ask yourself if you like all of the foods. Again, it’s vital that you follow the diet exactly. To put it another way, if you know you won’t eat a certain food, then find another diet that you will like.
While a 3 day diet menu isn’t meant to be done for more than three days, you can lose a weight in that amount of time. You can stop there and enjoy the weight loss, or you can consider a jump start on a longer term diet plan. Either way, losing weight fast is a good motivator. You will be thinner, look better and feel great. So go ahead and find a diet that’s right for you…you’ll be glad you did.

What To Do If You Cant Lose Weight
You have tried diet after diet, you have endured exercise program after exercise program, and after all of that, you still want to know what to do if you can’t lose weight. If that sounds familiar, then you should know that you are not alone. A lot of people have tried all sorts of things to lose weight, all without any lasting success. Sure, you may lose a few pounds, but then you gain most of it back (or even end up weighing more than when you started).
Even though a lot of people have this problem, there really isn’t a universal solution; that’s because everybody is different. However, there are also some basic principles of weight loss that apply to virtually anybody.
If you are currently on a diet, and aren’t able to take off enough weight, then you have to take a close look at the diet plan to see if it can really work. Pay attention to the total number of calories it recommends per day, and see if it is too heavy or restrictive on certain groups of foods.
Each person needs a different number of calories, depending on various factors. If you take in more calories than you need, then it stands to reason that losing weight isn’t going to happen. But, the real problem can be taking in too few calories. While you may lose some weight, your body will go into starvation mode, and store a much higher percentage of your caloric intake. In other words, it won’t burn off as many calories as it normally would. This also makes it next to impossible to shed extra pounds. Therefore, you need to be on a diet that has the right amount of calories for you personally.
The other thing to watch out for are diets that are unbalanced. Most fad diets get popular because they have a gimmick of some kind. The Grapefruit Diet, Cabbage Diet and Cottage Cheese Diet are a few examples that put an emphasis on eating a particular food. There are also diets which restrict carbohydrates or fat, but if they don’t include a wide range of food choices then the odds of your getting results are low, and the odds of having permanent results are even lower.
Can all of those diets work? Yes! But…there is a catch. As mentioned, they almost always have a gimmick of some kind. It’s this gimmick that makes them popular. They use their little tricks to hide the real “secret” behind losing weight. This is important if you’re still wondering what to do if you can’t lose weight. The real secret is this: The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in.
That may not sell a lot of fad diets, but that’s what it all comes down to. If you can’t seem to get rid of those extra pounds, then you need to either reduce how many calories you’re taking in, or increase how many calories you’re burning off.
