How To Lose Baby Belly Fat

Pregnancy does many things to a womans body and one of those things is that they are often left with a ‘baby belly’. It takes a lot of determination and focus to get back into shape after you have recovered from pregnancy and the delivery of your baby. If you follow a simple plan you can lose your pregnancy weight quite quickly and get rid of that baby belly fat. You can lose baby belly fat fast when you do regular cardio exercise, strength training using a stability ball and stick to a healthy diet.

A stability ball is very effective for toning up stomach muscles and you can get one for around $30 at a sports store. A 22 inch ball is appropriate for most women but if you are short (under 5’1″) then you will benefit from the 18 inch ball and if you are tall (over 5’8″) then you will benefit from the 26 inch ball.

Studies have shown that people who use a stability ball will develop twice as much muscle fiber as those who did regular crunches without a ball. Using a stability ball will help you to lose baby belly fat much faster than doing regular sit ups and crunches without the ball.

When you buy a stability ball it usually comes with a manual that includes several exercises. The exercises I will talk about here in this article are especially good for targeting that unwanted baby belly fat.

The first exercise is the reverse crunch. Lie on your back and press your legs into the ball. Lift the ball 3 to 6 inches off the floor with your legs. Hold the ball off the floor for one second then lower and repeat a few times.

The second exercise is the rock and roll. Kneel on the floor with your elbows on the ball. Lift your body until you are on your toes and at a 45 degree angle to the floor. Hold this position for a second then relax and repeat a few times.

To lose weight anywhere, including the stomach, cardio exercise is important. Try to include 45 minutes or cardio workout 3 times a week to help lose that belly fat. Cardio exercise can include brisk walking, jogging, running, cycling or using one of the many cardio exercise machines available.

To lose baby belly fat you will also need to eat a healthy diet. Try to eat 500 calories less than the amount of calories needed to maintain a healthy weight. Do this for two weeks while doing the above exercise program. A healthy diet is essential to any weight loss attempt.

It is actually easier than you might think to find ways to reduce your calorie intake. Small changes like having your coffee with skim milk rather than whole milk can save you 120 calories. Other changes could be having some fruit with fat free yoghurt instead of a bowl of ice-cream or a chocolate bar. You could also eat air popped popcorn instead of potato chips. There are many substitutions that you can make to reduce the number of calories you eat each day.

It can be hard to find the time and energy to exercise and to eat well when you have a new baby to take care of. If you put in the effort to incorporate a healthy diet and an exercise routine into your lifestyle then it will soon become habit and you will soon find yourself losing that baby belly fat.

Master Cleanse Blog – Your Inspiration To Others

If you want to really be successful with your diet and detox program it can help to keep a journal of your experiences. For that reason you may want to consider keeping a master cleanse blog. Writing down your progress, and even your slip ups, can help you stay on target. It adds an element of peer pressure to the equation which can help enormously with your success.

By chronicling your journey, you can also help inspire other people. It’s possible that you can find a way to help each other in your overall weight loss goals and not just with the success of your cleansing.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with what the master cleanse is, it’s simply a diet drink that can help speed up your metabolism and help clear out the build up of toxins in your system. The cleanse mixture is made up of all natural organic ingredients such as fresh lemon juice, organic maple syrup, cayenne pepper powder and water. This diet program will require you to go on a liquid only diet for a full ten days. During this time you will only drink the cleansing mixture, water and clear broth.

Now if that sounds like it’s hard, it is. It’s not an easy thing to go on a liquid only diet. Just ask anyone who has had to do it in preparation for a medical test or surgery. It can be made somewhat easier if you plan ahead. You will greatly increase your odds of success by spending some time in preparation. For example, set a start date. Pick a date that is a few days up to one week in advance. That way you’ll have plenty of time to get your head in the right space.

You can also slightly decrease your caloric intake during this ‘prep’ time, that way your body won’t be so ‘shocked’ when you go on the all liquid diet. By taking some of the shock factor out you will greatly increase your chances of success.

Another thing. don’t forget to ask your doctor if it’s ok for you to go on this diet program. For most healthy people it shouldn’t be a problem, but since I’m not a doctor and I don’t know your history, I can’t say whether or not it’s ok for you. Talk to your doctor first.

Once you get your doctors ok you can do a cleanse up to once a month if you want to. Once you are done with the cleanse make sure you ease back into your normal diet. Don’t expect to rush out and eat a ton of food or you will get sick. You’ll have to get your body used to eating solid foods again, and that will be a bit of a process.

You also don’t want to cleanse your body and start losing weight just to go out and eat a bunch of junk and drink a lot of coffee and soda thus undoing all you just did. Keeping a master cleanse blog journal can help ‘keep you honest’ before, during and after your cleanse.

What Are The Best Belly Fat Exercises

You may ask, what the best belly fat exercises are. To be honest, there are hundreds of exercises you can do to get rid of that belly that just doesn’t seem to want to go away. The great thing is they all work, you just have to find what works best for you. I know that may not seem like a big deal, however it may be one of the most important factors in this whole process.

The reason being is that you want to make sure that you can go the distance with the particular program. In the past many people have chosen a program, getting burned out and it causes them to fall short of their goal.

OK, now that we have that out of the way let’s take a look at some of the best exercises that could help you get rid of that bulge that’s so aggravating to get rid of. Jogging, jogging, jogging, this helps you burn calories and it also keeps your metabolic rate up even when you’re not doing anything.

Some people can’t take the rigors of jogging; it may be too hard on some their joints such as their hips, knees, and even their back. So the other option would be walking. The great thing about walking is that it doesn’t have to be speed walking or even miles at a time; simply a brisk walk for 10 to 15 minutes a day will work.

Another great exercise is yoga; this exercise can not only get you slim and trim. Yoga can also help you stay in the right frame of mind to get the job done. Yoga may take some time to get use to; however it’s an excellent way of getting you where you want to be.

The next exercise I would recommend would be crunches or sit ups. The great thing about sit ups or crunches is that there is a variety of ways you can do these. There are different angels you can use while doing your crunches or sit ups. This way it reaches all the different abdominal muscles that you have.

There you have it. These are just a few of the best belly fat exercises which you could do to reach your goal of having a flat tummy. Put these few exercises, or even one of them into practice, and you will be sure to get where you want to be.

Tummy Tuck Scars – Yes – But Great Abs

Hey, I know you’re worried about tummy tuck scars, I mean what’s the point of undergoing such a major surgery if you won’t be able to show off your abs because you have some ugly scar, right? Well, relax , the scar is usually big, but there are a few things that you should know.

First things first, make sure that before you have your tummy tuck that you have realistic expectations. It’s always best to invest the time to get in shape before the tummy tuck, don’t think of this surgery as a ‘diet’ plan. It really should only be used as a ‘finishing touch’ to tighten skin and repair torn muscles that no amount of diet and exercise can repair.

It’s also important to realize that a lot of people subconsciously think that once they look good everything will go great for them in life. Not so. Sure, you’ll look great and that will make you feel great, but life can still have it’s ups and downs so be prepared. The weird thing is that many people feel this way but few are aware they feel that way so it can blindside you after the surgery. Just be on the lookout for it.

Now, on to the tummy tuck scars, yes the scar will usually go from hip to hip, but if you have a qualified surgeon the scar will be so low that you can still wear that skimpy two piece you’ve had your eye on. Another thing to remember is that the scar will fade over time.

How long it takes for the scar to fade to the point where you can’t hardly see it will depend on your skin type. There are some people who claim that certain creams can help lessen the redness of the scar more quickly but you should talk to your doctor first to get his opinion.

You will also be bruised and swollen for weeks after the procedure. This is another common misconception. The swelling will go down after several weeks but until it does you’ll probably look bigger than you did before the surgery. Don’t let this bum you out, it’s only temporary. When everything fades and the swelling goes down you’ll love the way you look.

Some people also believe that tummy tucks are temporary. You’ll have to ask your doctor about that, but in my experience (yes, I’ve had one) the only way to go back to the way you were before is if you gain back all the weight you lost. So, don’t!

Do yourself a favor, take time to get in shape by eating right and getting plenty of exercise. Once you’ve done that honestly access the way you look. Once you’ve done all that you can do it might be time to see a plastic surgeon if you’re still not quite ‘there’. Don’t worry about tummy tuck scars they are very low and will fade over time so you’ll be able to show off your hot abs!
