Advantages Of Men Weight Loss Versus Women
Ah, the eternal debate: what are the Advantages of men weight loss versus women weightloss and lack of energy?
There are many elements to this question, do men lose weight more easily than women. And what role does lack of energy play, if any, in weight loss?
First of all, I want to make clear that I am not a doctor, scientist or personal trainer. What I am going to share with you in this article is what I have read and learned. I can not guarantee that it is accurate, but if nothing else, it will give you something to think about.
Ok, do men lose weight more quickly than women? From what I have been able to find out the answer would be “yes”. But it’s not what you may think, and that doesn’t mean it is necessarily “easy” for them either.
You see one of the biggest culprits of weight gain as we age, this goes for both men and women, is loss of lean muscle mass.
This happens for several reasons but the biggest reason is that as we get older we tend to move less. Less movement means that our muscles kind of wither away.
When that happens, and you may not even notice it at first, fat can build up in those “crevices” where the muscle once was. As your lean muscle mass deteriorates your metabolism slows down. This then can become a bad cycle.
Another thing to consider is that being out of shape can lead to a lack of energy. When you are feeling out of energy the last thing you want to do is workout. Again, a downward spiral.
To combat all of this just find the motivation, or hire someone to help you find it, to work out. Eat right, build up your lean muscle mass and you will find that you have more energy and your metabolism will burn hotter making it easier for you to stay at a healthy weight.
To be honest, none of this is rocket science. Today most of us know that a lot of what our parent’s generation thought about staying in shape was wrong.
We know that the idea of eating 3 big meals a day is wrong. All you accomplish by doing that is you flood your body with more calories at one time than it can process.
We now know that it’s better to eat small, healthy meals throughout your day to keep your metabolism burning hot.
We also know that even women need to do some weight training so that they can keep their lean muscle mass too. And we also know that since women don’t have enough of the hormones that build big muscles, it would be impossible for a woman to “bulk up” accidentally.
There may not be as many advantages of men weight loss versus women weightloss and lack of energy as we may have originally thought. To a large degree it seems as if we all have pretty much the same challenges. And it also seems we may all need pretty much the same solutions.

How To Lose Baby Belly Fat
Pregnancy does many things to a womans body and one of those things is that they are often left with a ‘baby belly’. It takes a lot of determination and focus to get back into shape after you have recovered from pregnancy and the delivery of your baby. If you follow a simple plan you can lose your pregnancy weight quite quickly and get rid of that baby belly fat. You can lose baby belly fat fast when you do regular cardio exercise, strength training using a stability ball and stick to a healthy diet.
A stability ball is very effective for toning up stomach muscles and you can get one for around $30 at a sports store. A 22 inch ball is appropriate for most women but if you are short (under 5’1″) then you will benefit from the 18 inch ball and if you are tall (over 5’8″) then you will benefit from the 26 inch ball.
Studies have shown that people who use a stability ball will develop twice as much muscle fiber as those who did regular crunches without a ball. Using a stability ball will help you to lose baby belly fat much faster than doing regular sit ups and crunches without the ball.
When you buy a stability ball it usually comes with a manual that includes several exercises. The exercises I will talk about here in this article are especially good for targeting that unwanted baby belly fat.
The first exercise is the reverse crunch. Lie on your back and press your legs into the ball. Lift the ball 3 to 6 inches off the floor with your legs. Hold the ball off the floor for one second then lower and repeat a few times.
The second exercise is the rock and roll. Kneel on the floor with your elbows on the ball. Lift your body until you are on your toes and at a 45 degree angle to the floor. Hold this position for a second then relax and repeat a few times.
To lose weight anywhere, including the stomach, cardio exercise is important. Try to include 45 minutes or cardio workout 3 times a week to help lose that belly fat. Cardio exercise can include brisk walking, jogging, running, cycling or using one of the many cardio exercise machines available.
To lose baby belly fat you will also need to eat a healthy diet. Try to eat 500 calories less than the amount of calories needed to maintain a healthy weight. Do this for two weeks while doing the above exercise program. A healthy diet is essential to any weight loss attempt.
It is actually easier than you might think to find ways to reduce your calorie intake. Small changes like having your coffee with skim milk rather than whole milk can save you 120 calories. Other changes could be having some fruit with fat free yoghurt instead of a bowl of ice-cream or a chocolate bar. You could also eat air popped popcorn instead of potato chips. There are many substitutions that you can make to reduce the number of calories you eat each day.
It can be hard to find the time and energy to exercise and to eat well when you have a new baby to take care of. If you put in the effort to incorporate a healthy diet and an exercise routine into your lifestyle then it will soon become habit and you will soon find yourself losing that baby belly fat.

Exercise And Healthy Eating To Lose Weight The Easy Way
Exercise And Healthy Eating To Lose Weight The Easy Way
Obesity is at record levels, and people are dying because of it! Hopefully that got your attention. It seems as though we are constantly being told just how bad the problem of people being overweight is, and the trend seems to be going up. At the same time, there are people who are interested in exercise and healthy eating to lose weight. Unfortunately, far too many of them don’t lose any weight, and some end up weighing more than when they started. What follows are some ways to keep this from happening to you.
The basic formula for calories is that 3,500 calories equals one pound of body weight. In other words, if you take in that many calories, you will gain a pound; if you burn off that many calories you will lose a pound. There are some slight variations based on the foods you eat and what activities you do, but this simple formula is good to know.
Now, looking at the math, we can see that 3,500 divided by the 7 days in a week works out to 500 calories per day. Therefore, if you can get rid of an extra 500 calories each day, you will lose a pound. You can do this through any combination of taking in fewer or burning more calories. For example, if you would take in 300 fewer calories and burn 200 more calories, then that would add up to 500, or a loss of one pound per week.
Eating healthy so you can lose weight means eating the right kinds of foods and choosing foods that are lower in calories. If you are exercising as part of your effort to lose weight, then you will actually be able to eat a bit more so you can fuel your body for its workout. However, don’t use exercise as an excuse to eat whatever you want. You still need to watch what you eat if you want to get rid of those extra pounds. But burning more calories through exercise will allow you to eat more than if you were sedentary.
Exercise and healthy eating to lose weight go hand-in-hand in another way. How? Well, exercise has been shown to increase metabolism. First, it will increase it while you are working out, and for a short while after you’re done. Second, muscle burns more calories than fat, so the more muscle you have, the more calories you’ll burn, even when you are at rest. Having your metabolism boosted means you will be burning the calories you eat at a faster pace. If you have any high-calorie items on your diet menu, then eating them close to your workout will help your body burn it off more quickly.
Not all exercise is created equal when it comes to losing weight though. Resistance exercises, such as weight lifting, are better at building metabolism boosting muscle tissue. The reason is that muscle needs to constantly receive fuel, even when you are resting, but fatty tissue does not. So, as you can see, exercise and healthy eating to lose weight is about attacking the problem from two angles, and making the right choices.
